Roblox Not Loading? Here's How to Fix It

5 min readUpdated April 2026

Stuck on a loading screen? Don't worry — this is one of the most common Roblox issues and usually easy to fix.

Quick Fixes (Try These First)

  1. Restart Roblox — Close the app completely and reopen it
  2. Check your internet — Make sure you're connected and have stable WiFi
  3. Restart your device — Turn it off and on again (really works!)
  4. Check server status — Visit our Is Roblox Down page to see if it's a Roblox issue

Clear Roblox Cache

Cached data can sometimes cause loading issues. Here's how to clear it:

On Windows:

  1. Press Windows + R to open Run
  2. Type %localappdata%\Roblox and press Enter
  3. Delete the "logs" folder
  4. Restart Roblox

On Mobile:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Roblox
  2. Tap "Clear Cache" (not Clear Data!)
  3. Restart the app

Update Roblox

An outdated app can cause loading problems. Make sure you're running the latest version by checking your app store for updates.

Check Your Firewall

Sometimes firewalls or antivirus software block Roblox. Try temporarily disabling them to see if that's the issue. If it is, add Roblox to your allowed programs list.

Reinstall Roblox

If nothing else works, try uninstalling and reinstalling Roblox:

  1. Uninstall Roblox completely
  2. Restart your device
  3. Download Roblox fresh from roblox.com or your app store
  4. Log in and try again

Still Not Working?

If you've tried everything and Roblox still won't load, the issue might be on Roblox's end. Check our server status page and wait for them to fix it.
